This is a great book about skiing. It's an easy read and you can go through it in a weekend. This book talks about the making of the movie. It's not a novel form of the movie- which I haven't seen. I already wanted to see the movie, but am even more excited now.

All-Mountain Skier : The Way to Expert Skiing

Read this book cover to cover, underline and study, before you go skiing for the first time. Then take three lessons and you will be off to a great start. Wish I had read this book three years ago when I first started skiing. It has a lot of very basic information that other books and videos leave out.
